Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi

Airport transfer will take you to your hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi Full Day City Tour

The sights include visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Presidential Palace; the Temples of Literature; Museum of Ethnology and a Cyclo tour around Hanoi's old quarter. Also known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. This is an exciting way to see the old quarter. (B,L)

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Drive to Halong bay, to begin an overnight cruise on a traditional junk. Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay we will board a superior Junk and have the chance to explore some of the limestone caves dotted around the bay. Then our captain will find a secluded spot for swimming and sun bathing before dinner. Enjoy a seafood feast for dinner and for the night owls, there is an option of night fishing. (B,L,D)

Day 4: Halong - Hanoi

Rising to the lapping waters of the bay we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. This morning we continue to cruise around the bay to find more secluded areas to swim or you may relax on deck with a book. At midday we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our vehicle for the journey back to Hanoi. (B, L)

Day 5: Mai Chau

We leave Hanoi for the scenic drive to Mai Chau. Located 4 hours from Hanoi, Mai Chau is an authentic hill tribe region and a fantastic base for treks and homestay adventures.  After check in, you will be served lunch and briefed on the optional activities. You may relax by the pool/ spa/ sauna and enjoy the mountain backdrop or go on a trek or cycle ride. Dinner is served and is accompanied by a traditional dance performance by the local Thai tribe (B,L,D)

Day 6: Mai Chau - Hanoi

After breakfast there is an optional a cycling tour or walk through the beautiful valley of Mai Chau. You will meet the local hill tribes going about their daily routines such as planting rice, herding buffalos or building traditional houses (B,L)

Day 7: Hanoi

Transfer to airport for flight out Vietnam.
